Polyethylene is a thermoplastic resin produced by polymerization of ethylene. Polyethylene is odorless, non-toxic, feel like wax, has excellent low temperature resistance, the lowest temperature can reach -100°C, good chemical stability, can withstand most acid and alkali erosion, but can not contact with acid with oxidizing properties. Insoluble in general solvents at room temperature, low water absorption, excellent electrical insulation.
